Victor Sheverda

Victor Sheverda is a Construction Project Manager operating in the Greater Denver Area, where he leads a wide range of commercial construction efforts from the initial planning stages through completion. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. This respected industry standard affirms his ability to manage complex projects consistently and precisely. He combines hands-on field knowledge with formal management strategies, creating a foundation that supports project efficiency and client satisfaction.

His introduction to construction began at a young age through his family’s business, which built custom residential homes using Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) construction. This building method, known for its energy efficiency and resilience, significantly shaped his long-term commitment to sustainable construction. The use of ICF results in structures that are not only environmentally conscious but also resistant to fire, pests, rot, and natural disasters, all of which continue to influence his approach to modern building practices.

Over time, he gained valuable professional experience through multiple internships with a well-established construction group. These roles led to a career start in commercial construction, beginning with a position as a Project Engineer. Later, he became an Assistant Project Manager with a significant commercial builder in Colorado. In this capacity, he works closely with subcontractors, project owners, and internal teams to align goals and drive results across large-scale projects in the Denver area.

In addition to traditional project oversight, he is trained in Agile methodology, which enables him to break down large projects into smaller, adaptable units, ensuring better responsiveness to challenges and client feedback. He has used these skills to navigate obstacles such as procurement delays and budget constraints, particularly on high-end and time-sensitive developments.

His early life included time in Hawaii, where his appreciation for the environment took root. He later attended high school in Colorado, excelling in academics and athletics. He began his college career in Civil Engineering before transferring to Colorado State University, where he completed his degree with a 3.78 GPA and became a member of the Sigma Lambda Chi Honor Society. During his college years, he completed internships that involved work on key developments such as Market Station, RidgeGate Campus, and the United States Capitol Building—an experience he considers a career milestone due to the importance of historic preservation.

He contributed to the National Western Center Campus Energy project as a Project Engineer, where he supported the development of the most extensive sewer-heat recovery system in North America. Following that, he served as a Construction Estimator, handling detailed proposal reviews and budget planning. In 2022, he was promoted to Assistant Project Manager, overseeing procurement, subcontractor coordination, and contract compliance. He is especially proud of his work on the U.S. Capitol and the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center, a 170,982-square-foot facility with national significance.

Beyond work, he spends much of his time outdoors, hiking, climbing, and staying active through sports like Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and skiing. He supports conservation efforts through his involvement with the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and enjoys discovering new places through travel and exploration.

Victor Sheverda continues to apply his experience, training, and environmental values to each new challenge in the field of commercial construction.
